On September 28-29, 2023, the annual meeting of the International Academy of Information Technology Directors (IAC), called "UZBEKISTAN INTERNATIONAL CIO SUMMIT 2023", was held in Samarkand. This is a significant event for global leaders in the field of IT and digital transformation. The overall theme of the summit was "The digital world - challenges for CIOs".

The event was attended by representatives from more than 50 countries, including IT leaders from our region. Participants discussed current trends in information technology, shared experiences in implementing digital innovations at state and corporate levels, and developed joint recommendations for the development of digital economies for NAC member states and Central Asia.
