The XIV Tashkent International Film Festival "The Pearl of the Silk Road" took place from September 14 to 18 under the motto "For Peace, Knowledge and Progress". More than 500 film makers from 40 countries participated in the event. Around 150 feature films, documentaries, and short films were screened during the festival.
